About Export Specialist

What does an Export Specialist do?

As Export Specialists, we create adequate export documentation both within and outside of the SAPs scope, and process all customs documentation, and ensure their accuracy. We also assist freight forwarders and customs brokers with import and export issues associated with all shipments as well as processing the company’s exports of parts to other countries. We track, trace, and report shipments’ locations to ensure their timely delivery to the company’s warehouses for the sales planning teams.

Core tasks:

  • review and process the ISF to ensure total compliance with relevant regulations
  • ensure compliance with US customs rules and regulations
  • maintain accurate electronic records such as the import activity log or shipping manifest
