About Export Supervisor

What does an Export Supervisor do?

As Export Supervisor, we are responsible for managing a customer account portfolio and arranging export shipments. We supervise operations team members with innovative ideas and problem-solving techniques. We manage export shipments for important customers on a domestic and worldwide scale. Making arrangements for shipments with steamship lines and transporters is also a part of our duty. We coordinate with loading facilities and other vendors. Working as Export Supervisor, we are responsible for preparing all necessary documentation for each shipment. We trace and track shipments. We integrate shipment and customer information into all systems. Finally, we continuously communicate with customers.

Core tasks:

  • managing all pricing for major customer accounts
  • sending invoices to customers
  • managing effective workflow
  • participating in outside sales activities
