Under general supervision of the Assistant Director, assist with programmatic details of an educational program. Provide assistance in the operations of the program in accordance with policy, procedures, and guidelines by maintaining proper records, business systems, and program marketing tools. Disseminate accurate information on program requirements through verbal and written communication. Assist program participants by addressing their concerns and referring to appropriate sources for resolution of issues and concerns.
1. Assist with the recruitment and selection of program students according to grant guidelines.
2. Assist students with preparing initial educational plans that are realistic and balanced.
3. Assist in the development of marketing plans and methods of dissemination of program materials for maximum impact.
4. Explain, promote, and disseminate program requirements and program information to current and prospective students, parents, external constituents, and other campus colleges and units.
5. Assist with the design, development and implementation of in-house resource materials that are available for student use.
6. Serve as a resource person and assist program participants in referrals to other services and follow-up on student needs and outcomes.
7. Prepare supply lists and payment vouchers for program services and assist in the preparation and maintenance of student and office records according to grant guidelines.
8. Assist with the acquisition of student data and prepare basic reporting tools for the analysis of data.
9. Assist with the preparation of annual and mid-year reports.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

credit for college course work in or closely related to the social or behavioral sciences work experience and/or training that provided a knowledge of human behavior by having demonstrated through public contact the ability to cope with a variety of people, (such as complaint clerk, salesperson, or receptionist) that totals 1.0 unit according to the following conversion rates: 24 semester hours of "A" = 1.0 unit 24 months of "B" = 1.0 unit Amounts of experience or training less than those listed above should be converted to decimal equivalents of 1.0 unit and added together when computing combinations of the different types of preparation.
