Gm will lie and take advantage of you. There is no room for personal growth beyond the year renewal for your license. Work and life balance is poor, constantly understaffed at all locations, and the lab department gets no respect if it happens to do surfacing jobs. On top of all that, the equipment practically brakes down twice a day

I did enjoy my time at Eyeglass world. It was very fulfilling and I learned a lot from the Dr's there. As for the staff that was there I could say differently. I was told a few times that after assisting with a couple options of frames and the customer is still unsure then we are to walk away and help someone else who is probably more serious about purchasing, which in my opinion I found very rude and lazy. Often the staff had an attitude on the phone when customers called in to inquire on the status of their order. I was told to tell them we will call when its ready, if we didn't call, its not here. Which I did not do because I found it unprofessional so I would take the time and check just in case it did come in and we haven't gotten. The manager Debbie was very blind to actions of the staff. My first week I was told Dr. so and so is a jerk, he's like this he's like that. But when I started working with the staff I found a lot of personal experiences to be false in my eyes.
