What does a Family Service Counselor do?

As Family Service Counselors, we are responsible for interviewing families in crisis and coordinating and planning support programs and activities to meet their financial and emotional needs. We respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Connecting with families through listening and addressing their concerns and developing an understanding of family’s needs is one of our main responsibilities. We prepare appointments and perform procedures with professionalism by interacting with families. Working as Family Service Counselors, we build trust-based and ongoing relationships with families.
