About Family Services Coordinator

What does a Family Services Coordinator do?

As Family Services Coordinators, we help struggling families and individuals secure housing, healthcare, counseling, education, rehabilitative services, food, and other resources. We identify community agencies and resources that provide services to migrant and seasonal families, so we can establish and maintain cooperative relationships with them. We also respond to children's absences by visiting or calling the parents, following the procedures. We take and maintain records on family activities. We also organize and participate in meetings following the guidelines and provide training to parent representatives. We help parents in developing individualized short and long-term goals how to accomplish them.

  • conducts family services meetings and training sessions
  • visit enrolled families regularly

  • keep family services records
