About Family Support Coordinator

What does a Family Support Coordinator do?

As Family Support Coordinators, we assess the needs of the family by examining them and engaging with them more often. We work hard to ensure that families and communities live harmoniously and foster a strong relationship where they care for one another. We conduct a home visit to get to know more about the families and focus on providing family support and reducing child maltreatment. We also have to follow up with the families after home visits to ensure that they have connected with the resources available.

  • asses the family needs
  • engage the family to listen more about their needs
  • foster a strong relationship between the family and the community
  • conduct follow-ups on families after engagement
