We explain decisions to families involving rules and regulations that the families don’t understand. We also have a responsibility to ensure that the families are getting the benefits they are entitled to and also making recommendations to the families about education or training. We establish a rapport with the families that they can share their information with us comfortably. We also help families connect them with state or community amenities.
