The role
will report to the Head of Marine AmericasResponsibilities
Win profitable orders on US Navy and Federal Shipbuilding programs
Ensure customer satisfaction with the US Navy and other key shipbuilders
Develop and implement detailed account plans at key market accounts.
Develop relationship at in the US Navy and at key market accounts
Lead capture teams and develops capture large and significant Must Win opportunities.
Works closely with other Marine Americas Business Development Managers, the Marine Americas Solutions Architect Team, and the SLN Americas Operation Center
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Previous shipyard or US Navy experience
Previous sales and business development experience
Previous experience leading and multi-million dollar projects within the marine industrial technology sector
50% travel (based on location)
Required knowledge, skills, or expertise
Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Demonstrates Knowledge of Federal procurement process.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge in Marine electrical, automation and propulsion applications and solutions.
Previous experience leading large PM@Siemens projects or PMP certification
