Federal-Mogul Corporation is a private American corporate manufacturer and supplier of products for industrial, agricultural, aerospace, automotive, marine industries. The firm was established in 1899 and is headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, United States and is now acquired by Tenneco. The firm is operated by two independent business divisions, Federal-Mogul Motor Parts, and Federal-Mogul Powertrain. The Motor Parts Division sells and distributes products under more than 20 brands in the global vehicle aftermarket while the Powertrain Division designs and manufactures the original powertrain components and system protection products globally. Federal-Mogul's networks span across 23 countries, employing a workforce of more than 80,000 employees across 150 manufacturing facilities and technical centers.
