The workplace requires a lot of physical movements, lifting, pushing, turning and twisting. There’s a start time but there’s no telling when the shift will end. End shift depends on the amount of work there is for the day.
Pros and Cons
Lunch on Fridays
Flooded parking lot

Courier Delivery Driver
Elk Grove Village, IL - February 28, 2024
I began as a courier and not long after I found out the hiring manager-Terrance failed to mention at the interview. They have new drivers unload all the incoming trailers of packages but not their favorite driver, it not a team effort it, more like a selective decision. The race component is not balanced, 80% black and 20 % mixed.... do see the discrimination. all senior managers are black... where is the equality and balance. This a blatant example of DEI in action. as I said, Not worth it and No Future, unless you're black. Then you have a great future and they wont make you work for your pay either, its a win , win!
Pros and Cons
Not much and no union which is a very good thing.
Once you're hired, you cannot post out for 2-3 years and they dont take care of the trucks

When I worked for this company I experienced tons of grief and slack from Management and Team Supervisors. I was a hard worker and my attendance was fair yet the amount of disrespect and severely strict supervisors who I encountered gave me enough reasons to leave this company. Not only was that an issue but Managers showed lack of care for their workers and they actively harassed and provoked their workers.
Also, the company doesn't support any accommodations for workers with disabilities!
Pros and Cons
Gainful Money
Poor Management, Harassment, Sexual Predators, Felons work here

FedEx was really easy job to get. I started in Denver Colorado and moved to Nevada and they transferred me within the first 90 days of work there, which is really helpful for me. It's not an easy job but you get used to it and being only part time it became a good good gig for me.
Pros and Cons
Company has great benefits even for p/t people. Get a free workout. Transfer anywhere in the world.
Not personable. They always have a dramatic turnover of employees. They rushing way too much.

Lubbock, TX - August 29, 2023
I think the overall supportive aspect that Fedex provided for the short time I worked there was great. One of the things that I wish would have happened during my employment was organization and time management. The first day I was on a truck and then they put me in what they called cart city. The numbering system was confusing and the instruction from my supervisor was also lacking. I would've structured the training process a bit better and then the videos and safety training was pointless since they put us in a conference room and just said watch it.
Pros and Cons
Work was always available
Hours of operation were ridiculous and no one had consistency

Kernersville, NC - June 2, 2023
I had no work for 15 years and only tended to my daughters. Bills were piling and needed extra money. This job excepted me since hardly any years of experience. The growth was received. Some managers worked with me to make my time easier and some went too far as productivity quotas being met. Through it all, I stayed there until my hardship was lifted.
Pros and Cons
Weekly pay, 90-day benefits, casual attire
Work and hour variation, risk of injury

Lafayette, IN - May 5, 2023
Both the boss and managers don’t care about you they’ll pile extra stops and pickups on you just so they can go home early. Was told I should just leave my son at daycare after they’ve closed so I can do my managers route cause she wanted to go home early even though she made twice as much as us drivers. They refuse to pay you extra for doing the extra work instead your told if you don’t then your fired. All employees or over worked and underpaid. Terrible place to work
Pros and Cons
Meet new people and your outside all day
Disrespectful boss/manager and your overworked and underpaid

This job sucks, end of story, don't work here, most people quit within a week, workload is quite literally impossible; 0 out of 10 management, you would be better off moonwalking in front of lions in a zebra costume slathered in duck fat before taking this job.
Pros and Cons
You get to work alone because everyone else quits so if you are an introvert work this job.

They barely give out bathroom breaks and when they let you go you have about 3 minutes go get there and be back. I’ve seen many new people come in and leave on their first day. Always short staffed and we have to pick up the slack. It gets so bad sometimes the managers have to actually step in and work with us.
Pros and Cons
Lunch on Fridays
They have decent pay but not for the amount of manual labor you have to do.

Fredericksburg, TX - April 21, 2022
Driving has always been a passion I persue at every bend in life, its how you see the world without being stuck in one place. With FedEx i learned many parts of the beautiful hill country area of Texas. They did have a multitude of challenges durring my time with them, covid deffinately ramped up the stress levels and workload. Ultimately life is what you make of it and i feel like my coworkers there were almost family.
Pros and Cons
Learning the towns and landscape around this beautiful state.
Expectations of a balanced workload were variable from day to day.
