FEMA Company Reviews and Ratings
Construction Diaster Estimator
Irvine, CA - December 11, 2024
Enjoyed working with FEMA qualified applicants submitting for disaster financial relief. The applicants would provide FEMA formatted damage reports that enabled me to create a budget. The applicants were from various counties, cities, public schools, and the Indian Nation.
At the end of my second year I decided to move out of state and would not be able to support the post Covid return to the office mandate.
Pros and Cons
During my two years I only worked from home due to the Covod-19 issue.
Management Woke and DEI policy mandates.

I’ve Always wanted a successful career, but with success comes sacrifice. I’ve learned that consistency and hunger for more keeps you motivated to work and keep working.
Pros and Cons
Working for this company is very comfortable because you can work at your own pace and be efficient.
Mostly it’s the constant changes being made. But that’s not bad.

Safety and Security Manager
Washington, DC - May 5, 2021
Your duties might include serving in a command center and having access to top level national interest event information. Or writing plans or policies. Or helping Americans by working at a disaster - which of course includes travel. Or developing and facilitating emergency exercises including working with the leaders of state and federal agencies. Or serving on committees in the nation's Capitol with membership from numerous other government agencies.
Pros and Cons
Incredible opportunity to network with and learn about other government agencies
Long hours during natural disaster responses, but that is what the job is about
