About Field Application Engineer

What does a Field Application Engineer do?

In the role of Field Application Engineer, our primary goal is to focus on spending time in the field with customers. We are responsible for helping customers by understanding their queries and providing them with authentic solutions. We establish strong relationships with the customers by building their trust through regularly visiting their sites and providing them recommendations. Working as Field Application Engineers, we are capable of maintaining customer database information in the CRM software. We provide technical support to our team members as well and help them in troubleshooting the existing applications. We also review all the orders and inquiries for assuring that the customer requirements are being met on time.

Core tasks:

  • consulting with operational teams
  • analyzing samples of products
  • collaborating with manufacturing engineering teams in overseeing different plants
  • conducting failure analysis of several products
  • performing other duties as assigned
