About Field Claims Representative

What does a Field Claims Representative do?

As Field Claims Representatives, we check damages for insurance claims. It is our job to inspect insured properties and motor vehicles for damages and estimation of repair cost. We use claims management software and other gadgets to estimate repair costs and adjust with insurance coverage. It is our responsibility to report the findings with proper documentation. We verify information provided in an insurance claim and assist the team in approval or disapproval of a claim. We also interview claimants and witnesses to collect more information. Whenever needed, we consult with local police and healthcare providers to verify facts and collect data for claim processing.
