About Field Organizer

What does a Field Organizer do?

As Field Organizers, we are grassroots consultants. We find, train, and schedule volunteers, and oversee workers within a region or state. We interact with a diverse range of people. Building a strong, volunteer base and taking part in various events and meetings are a part of our duty. We plan and execute events by studying demographics to best represent an area. It is our responsibility to plan and organize outreach activities such as public events, campaigns, and community meetings for brand awareness. We also coordinate and develop campaign activities. We are responsible for planning and scheduling field education events in target communities.

Core tasks:

  • supervising and guiding campaign committees
  • initiating orientation and training programs for volunteers
  • identifying volunteers and select leaders for running campaigns
  • devising innovative volunteer engagement strategies through social networks
  • engaging actively in networking for public outreach communications
  • monitoring campaign activities closely in collaboration with Managers to ensure campaign goals
