About Field Service Supervisor

What does a Field Service Supervisor do?

As field service supervisors, we oversee the daily operations of an assigned field service team. This usually means a team of technicians delivering services outside of company property. We are responsible for managing schedules, and ensuring team members have all the necessary equipment to do their work. We coach and develop the team, driving employee engagement and organizational health. We identify skill gaps and organize trainings. We audit employee performance, and ensure that KPI targets are met. We identify best practices and opportunities for operational improvement. We may prepare customer field service quotes, presentations and reports. We assist in resolving customer complaints and drive customer retention. We participate in the hiring process of team members, and employee documentation/administration.
