Second Nature started out as a business called FilterEasy in 2012. The job was straightforward, making it as easy as possible to replace air filters. Co-founders Thad Tarkington and Kevin Barry made it possible over time. The whole process of replacing air filters, let's face it, is very slow. Absolutely memorable. That's why, though they are meant to, most people don't change their filters. This is not ideal because the indoor air can be up to 5x worse than the outside air. So, for his health and well-being, frequent filter adjustments are extremely necessary. Second Nature started as an idea and now hires over 100 individuals.
