Job Summary:
Assist the Finance Team with publishing the monthly internal reporting package to function leadership during month end. The Intern will also assist with the annual internal fixed asset audit. Additionally, they will support several improvement initiatives.
This internship is located in Hartford, WI and will be a year round internship that is part-time hours during school and full-time on breaks and summer.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare the monthly reporting package and provide analytical support during the month end close process
Participate in the Fixed Asset Audit by managing audit schedule and working with subject matter experts to identify assets
Maintain standard costs in accounting system
Manage business partnerships with non-commercial SG&A executives through monthly reporting and planning process
Assist with updating and improving planning schedules for the forecasts and budget
Job Requirements:
Intermediate understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint with willingness to learn advanced applications
Quick learner with the ability to follow processes to complete tasks without errors
Ability to effectively communicate with team members their progress on tasks, the method used to complete such tasks, and call out problems as they arise
Basic analytic and problem solving skills
Sophomore or Junior Accounting/Finance major
