What does a Financial Aid Officer do?

As Financial Aid Officers, we analyze and evaluate the financial viability of clients and their families to provide adequate advice and counseling regarding any available financial aid opportunities, eligibility requirements, and the exact application process. We thoroughly review and assess their eligibility for financial aids, and exercise professional judgment to determine whether adjustments should be made. We also review their document for accuracy and provides signature approval or disapproval of loan applications following the company’s, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies' guidelines.

Core tasks:

  • respond to prospects’ inquiries, and resolves problems related to any transactions handled by our unit
  • provide information, in person, via phone, or electronic chat to prospective clients and their families
  • serve as a liaison between the client and state, federal, tribal, and other agencies
