About Financial Analyst

What does a Financial Analyst do?

As Financial Analysts, we are responsible for analyzing the financial data of the company. It is our responsibility to provide support on the range of strategic and tactical analysis. We are also responsible for making financial forecasts and offering forecasts support for weekly forecasts and annual plans. Some of us plan and maintain fixed asset records of the company. We work in public and private companies, and healthcare and government organizations. Giving improvement recommendations to the firm based on the latest trends is also a part of our duty. We also coordinate with other members of the finance team to produce the best outcomes.

Core tasks:

  • building and maintaining records, profit plans, and statements
  • providing direct support to the controller
  • conducting product line analysis
  • overseeing the goods in transit reconciliation
  • preparing financial presentations for the executive committee
