Fire Inspector

We, the fire inspectors, ensure buildings are safe through installation of fire control equipments. We apply extensive knowledge of possible safety codes and fire hazards. We, fire inspectors, have a background in fire prevention or firefighting and are certified through fire prevention organizations. We also have to locate fire code violations.

Core tasks:

• inspecting structures and buildings, for fire hazards during renovations and initial construction
• checking buildings to make sure, fire control equipment is present
• identifying violations of fire code via knowledge of applicable state and ensure buildings are compliant to guidelines
