About Fire Marshal

What does a Fire Marshal do?

In the role of Fire Marshal, we are responsible for managing the working performance of fire protection inspectors. We evaluate different fire protection programs to spread awareness among the people related to fire attacks. We schedule and assign fire inspection tests to validate the functionality and performance of fire pumps. Working as Fire Marshals, we are accountable for checking the on door fire alarms and other emergency fire pumps to ensure that they are functioning properly and securely. We work collaboratively with fire handlers to identify fire hazards at different public places.

Core tasks:

  • reporting the fire attacks to the appropriate person
  • attending the fire discussion meetings
  • checking the accuracy of fire alarms
  • breaking glass call points *performing other duties
