What does a Firearms Sales Associate do?
As Firearms Sales Associates, we assist firearms organizations in experiencing the shooting world's sport and creating a nice experience for customers. We buy and sell guns and display products to customers in sporting goods stores. Our responsibilities as Firearms Sales Associate isn't just about selling guns, although it's an important role, we help customers navigate finding the right firearms that suit them the most, encourage them to further their training through the classes offered by the organization, and check them in and out of the range when they come to practice.
Core tasks:
- offering friendly customer services and making them feel welcome
- ensuring the completion of the sales of firearms are legal and in compliance with the ATF, and other related government agencies laws and regulations
- aiding customers to make purchasing decisions based on their needs
- assisting in ensuring the merchandising standards are met in the store
