About Firefighter

What does a Firefighter do?

As firefighters, we are responsible for inspecting and maintaining fire suppression systems/equipment, site inspections, and writing burn and weld permits. In case of emergency, we will respond, drive, and operate emergency response vehicles and provide fire and medical services, and other emergency mandatory responses. We patrol the premises, conducting fire and security-related inspections. Additionally, we perform security tours, identify access levels, and assure proper documentation is generated for various items for the smooth execution of plans. We also answer telephones, direct calls, close road systems, perform patrols, walk clocks, and perform any other facility or supervisor request that may develop.

Core tasks:

  • respond to and mitigate emergency incidents including structural fires and medical emergencies
  • control and extinguish fires, rescuing persons endangered by the fire and providing medical assistance
  • perform fire preventions inspections in facilities where fire hazards are expected
  • operate all types of fire operation and rescue equipment
  • provide detailed written fire reports and fire station records
  • patrol the premises, conducting fire and security-related inspections
