I originally started as a receptionist transferring incoming calls to disputes, chargebacks, or the fraud department from numerous banks across the nation. I applied to the chargeback department and worked cardholder accounts on charges that they didn't recognize, and would investigate the charges and do a chargeback, or send to the fraud if the charges were fraudulent activity. Identify, research, and resolve cardholder or client, bank issues in a timely manner.
When the call center went into overflow of calls in queue I would help answer incoming calls including activation, removing holds on the account, and remove service charges if applicable.
Exceed customer expectations using quality assurance, collaborate with team members in other departments. Always greet cardholder first with my name, and verify caller before opening a case, document each call. Have empathy and putting myself in the cardholders shoes and work each claim as it was my own. Close each account with an update.
