What does a Flight Attendant do?

As Flight Attendants, we regularly conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the plane’s cleanest following the airline’s policies and guidelines. We show all safety and emergency measures such as how to use the oxygen masks, seat belts, and exit doors in both verbal and non-verbal communication. We also offer relevant information and support to ensure safety and overall comfort to passengers after warmly welcoming them, verifying their tickets, and directing them to their seats.

Core tasks:

  • attend pre-flight briefings and study all the details of the flight as required
  • respond to any passengers' questions about flights, travel routes, and arrival times
  • lead the passengers in case of emergency
