Seminole Casino Brighton is a 27,000-square-foot casino with 375-slot and gaming machines, a seven-table poker room, and high-stake bingo seats, with full service restaurant and lounge. Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Manger, the incumbent maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:

    Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Cleans, sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums; polishes walls, floors and fixtures within facility.
  • Picks up and disposes of trash.
  • Sets up, moves and/or installs furniture and pipe-n-drapes.
  • Provides quality customer service to patrons/guests and occasionally performs work with minimal supervision.
  • Assists other departmental personnel and performs special projects as assigned.
  • Knowledge of Seminole policies, procedures and operations.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Position requires standing and walking 100% of the time. Bending, lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds required for moving furniture and removing refuse. Frequent reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing/pulling carts and/or equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

As part of Seminole Gaming's employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:

About the Floor Attendant role

Entertainment Attendants Floor Attendant

As Floor Attendants, we are responsible for directing and assisting customers who required parking. We address customer issues and complaints in a timely manner and answer questions about products and services. Handling customer sales in a retail store and assisting customers with accessing parking tickets is one of our main responsibilities. We ensure that customers park only in the designated areas and conduct walk-through of the floors. We report any incidents or issues to the manager or supervisor and write reports as required.
