FLorida Blue has not been a bad company to work for just be aware that it does entail a great deal of dedication and the Service Advocate roles are very demanding. the focus on policy and procedure is extreme with what I consider to be severe consequences. There is growth potential if you move in the right circles and promote yourself and your brand shamelessly. The company as a whole has lost sight of the value in their individual employees and seems more laser focused on the almighty dollar then the sacrifices and commitments of their employees. A great deal of micromanaging and nitpicking occurs daily as a result of the pressures from higher management and focus on reputation rather than substance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and salaries need adjustment to truly Compete on a national and global level. I consider myself thoroughly overworked and under paid for the amount of stress and anxiety I endure as a result of the standards and metrics required in the service advocate position.

Pros and Cons
As long as you are willing to do the work – there will always be work to be done.
Often the demands are unattainable and raises and bonuses do not truly compensate accordingly
