In 1960, Florida Crystal was created. It is a private food processing company headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida. Florida Crystals Corporation is a vertically integrated cane sugar enterprise that manages the entire sugar production process from field to table. Florida Crystals operates two sugar mills, a sugar factory, a manufacturing and distribution facility, a rice mill, and North America's first solar power plant on 190,000 acres of land in Palm Beach County, Florida. Its sugar operations are powered by a green energy plant. Florida Crystals is the only company in the United States that grows and harvests certified organic sugar. Consumer Products, Agriculture, and Renewable Energy are among its specialties.
