About Food Beverage Operations Manager

What does a Food Beverage Operations Manager do?

As Food Beverage Operations Managers, we are responsible for planning and supervising all food and beverage departments' operations. We collaborate with other departments for the efficient implementation of quality and service initiatives. We also coordinate in developing menus. Ensuring health and safety protocols is also part of our responsibility. We prepare staff's work schedules and track them. We also supervise the supplies in inventory to ensure the availability of required goods within budget limits. Working as Food Beverage Operations Managers, we are responsible for developing and implementing departmental policies and regulations. We also conduct management meetings with a standard agenda. Finally, we communicate with sales managers to determine quality compliance with sales initiatives.

  • coordinating financial and budgetary activities to maximize profit
  • collaborating with the sales team to direct sales promotion operations
  • facilitating open discussions with team members and vendors to improve performance
