Food Network, founded in 1993 and headquartered in New York, is an American cable channel owned and operated by Television Food Network. The channel airs special and regular episodic programs about food and cooking. It has offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and more. Food Network Programming is divided into daytime “Food Network in the Kitchen” and a primetime “Food Network Nighttime.” The channel provides instructional cooking programs, food-related entertainment programs, food-related travel shows, and more. Red Fly Studio, in collaboration with the Food Network, has developed a video game for the Wii console known as Cook or Be Cooked.
