Holy Cross Health is a Hospital & Health Care institute that was founded in 1963 and headquartered in Silver Spring, MD. Obtains and processes patient meal order requests from patients, family, nursing staff and other hospital staff. Assist with the coordination of diet orders and diet order changes with meal preferences, tray assembly, delivery, nourishments, tube feeding and supplements.
Receives requests for diet changes via computer, fax or written format during down time.
Makes necessary changes and updates computer, printout and Room Services order system as needed.
Processes Room Service customer orders, including patient/family-initiated orders and those patients requiring assistance.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
