Fordham University was founded in 1841 in New York. The university offers education by Jesuit tradition to more than 15,100 students under its four undergraduate colleges and six graduate and professional schools. Fordham has residential campuses in the Bronx and Manhattan, in the West Harrison, N.Y. and the London Centre of the United Kingdom. It is a Jesuit, Catholic university and has about 500-year history of the Jesuits. The university values and educates the person and established with a mission of three ideas, Strive for excellence in everything do, care for others and Fight for justice. Fordham offers an education that enhance wisdom, experience, critical thinking and creative problem-solving. There are 192 Fulbright Scholars and 658 prestigious scholarships in the past five-year acceptance rate of health professional schools is 78% and 3,500 NYC-based internship companies. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education has granted accreditation to Fordham University.
