I worked here a couple year ago? Honestly isn’t bad but the work can be a lot on the beach. Management at the time wasn’t that great, but they do acknowledge hard working individuals

I got hired on the spot to open a new store and I was super happy because it sounded like a lot of fun and I’d get a lot of experience. We opened a 3 story store full of clothes what’s not to love, right? We’ll out of the 4 years that I worked there 3 were great and I loved every minute of it. But it was full of drama everyone knew your business no matter how hard you tried to cover it up. I busted my rear end working there and never got a promotion even though I applied for and was more than qualified for it. I couldn’t have relationships with managers because then other employees thought I got special treatment it was insane. I’d work 40 hours and never had health insurance and when the company got caught they cut my hours below 30 so i could never get it. I used to work 6 days a week sometimes or back to back shifts. The year I quit was a nightmare the store went to crap so did the management.
Pros and Cons
Discount on clothing
Short breaks, no health insurance, hourly wage, no growth, stressful

All I can say is that the store manager/assistant managers, had favorable employees. I can admit that I was one of the many favorites, but I didn’t like how they miss treated the others and I did stand up to said something about it.

Visual Merchandiser
Yuba City, CA - June 21, 2021
Visual Merchandising was a dream position for me because visual presentation was something I've always highly valued in my everyday life. I worked for F21 for about 2 years and last 6 months of if being the worst. I was extremely good at my job and praised for it all the time until a new manager came in with a very hostile attitude. For some reason she seemed to hate everything I did but then constantly asked for my help and input. Made no sense to me. After a while corporate decided to do away with most visual merchandiser specific duties and made them more of an overall store duty, which made a lot of the Visuals quit and the ones that stayed felt very under valued as we started doing standard associate work like covering the dressing rooms. It was a very strange switch and again, a lot of the team left because of it. I actually ended up putting in my two weeks with no back up job because the current manager was very mentally abusive and the company itself seemed to not value us.
Pros and Cons
benefits were great, early days for VMs, Floor Sets were fun, Great Co-workers
Employees weren't valued, My store specifically ran with an "iron fist" when it came to supervising,
