In Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Forsyth Technical Community College is a public community college. With over 11,000 credit students and over 24,000 Corporate and Continuing Education students, the college is one of the largest in the North Carolina Community College System. The college has presence on twelve locations in Forsyth and Stokes counties. It also has 67 Associates in Applied Science degrees, 20 college transfer (Associates in Arts and Associates in Science) degrees, 67 certificates and 35 diplomas. Early College Of Forsyth is a high school programs on the Forsyth Tech campus that allows students to attend community college coursework while still in high school and achieve an associate degree. The high school follows the same calendar as Forsyth Tech, and Joey Hearl is the principal.
