About Fourth Grade Teacher

What does a Fourth Grade Teacher do?

As Fourth Grade Teachers, we are responsible for teaching various subjects such as reading, vocabulary, math, science, and arts. We have other duties including disciplining students, reporting to parents, giving assignments and tests, and overseeing the emotional and social development of children. We will teach the students various behavioral standards and achieve a group learning atmosphere in the classroom. We also have to teach them further reading skills and knowledge about math and its daily use.

Core tasks:

  • developing various instructional methods that will help the students to gain appropriate knowledge
  • developing required instructional tools for particular students if required and managing work in compliance and design curriculum framework for the students
  • keeping a track of student behavior and plan changes accordingly and developing daily and weekly lesson plans for students
  • implementing all the work according to the rules and regulations planned by the school
