Fox Sports Networks (FSN) is the collaborative name for a group of regional sports channels in the United States which was governed by Diamond Sports Group which was an alliance company and it was launched on November 1, 1996 with its headquarters based in Los Angeles, California, United States. Some Fox Sports Networks manage overflow feeds available depending on their individual team rights via subscription television suppliers in their home markets, which may provide alternate programming when not used to carry game broadcasts. Regional broadcasts of sporting events from several professional, collegiate, and high school sports teams are carried by each of the channels. The Fox Sports Networks also broadcast and manufacture pre-game shows, and weekly magazine shows in addition to local play-by-play coverage focused on the teams that maintain rights with the individual network. On November 10, 2006 FSN distributed its initial pay-per-view event which was a boxing match.
