I began my career with Freedom, in the Call Center as a Support Agent. I was promoted within 14 months to Team Lead. A few months later, was contacted and asked to be a Supervisor. The Mortgage industry is ever changing and very competitive, but also very challenging.
Pros and Cons
Overall was a friendly place to work.
Depending on the business needs at the time, possibility of layoffs, would often happen.

This place pays well and that's where the positives end. The training is horrific and non existent! If you need help from leadership, they will not lift a finger. Sometimes a representative needs help with a customer, but their policy won't allow or they just dont want to.
Pros and Cons
They pay well.
No help from leadership.

I worked from home for Freedom Mortgage. Their Supervisors were Outstanding however, As a retired Navy Disable Veteran I would of like to see better accommodations for Doctor's appointments which was mandatory for disable veterans....Other than that, it's a good company to work for.
Pros and Cons
Great Christmas Gift and Training and Train
Disable Vets support

Worked for this company 4 months and was laid off with over 80 people and the explanation was that it was a company decision. Then they turned around and sent me an email asking if I would be interested in returning. I thought this was a good company to work for, but now I don't have any trust in them.
Pros and Cons
Benefits after 30 days
Pay is not as they stated and they are not consistent nor very communicable with their employees

I have worked twice for Freedom Mortgage, management is horrible. They state that they want to crear a fun environment to work but that’s all fluff.
Pros and Cons
Good pay and free lunches.
Management doesn’t care about life balance.

Freedom Mortgage did not respect your personal time. You might come in and they say mandatory overtime and you had to pick up your children or a doctors appointment. It did not matter. Also on snow days everyone in the world was letting there employee off but you had mandatory overtime.
Pros and Cons
Free parking and in bad weather your car was shielded
Unprofessional management
