Friend Family Health Center

Friend Health has offered primary health care services to vulnerable and medically underserved groups in an accessible, affordable, comprehensive, and culturally acceptable manner since its founding in 1997 and its current network of community health clinics. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive spectrum of primary and preventive health care services, as well as the necessary supplemental services, either directly or through existing arrangements or referrals. Friend Health was designated as a federally certified health centre in 1998. (FQHC). In December 2017, Friend Health was merged by Human Resources Development Institute, Inc. (HRDI). HRDI has served adult developmentally handicapped individuals in Alabama since 2003 as well.
