About Front End Software Engineer

What does a Front End Software Engineer do?

As Front End Software Engineers, we are responsible for developing end-to-end scalable web features. We consult clients to know their requirements needs. We collaborate with software engineers to build front-end components using various languages. Integrating these components with microservices is also a part of our duty. We create and design optimal responsive web pages as per the client's requirements. We are responsible for mentoring and coaching other members of the team. Working as Front End Software Engineers, we transform designs into functioning prototypes. Some of us collaborate with API developers to develop data-driven microservices. Finally, we evaluate and update style guides and technical documentation.

Core tasks:

  • building codes and component libraries
  • optimizing websites and applications to enhance efficiency and security
  • assisting in feature designs and project improvements
  • creating an interactive digital environment to ensure the user experience
