Fulton County Schools (FCS) is a well-known school system in Georgia with over 14,000 full and part-time employees including over 7,500 teachers deployed in 106 schools and administrative offices. FCS attracts, develops, and retains the skilled employees to support students. During the year 2019-20, nearly 93,500 students’ study in 59 elementary schools, 19 middle schools, 18 high schools and 10 charter organizations of FCS. FCS ensures that every student is supported according to need and prepared to perform in the classroom. FCS manages and protects public funds and assets through its efficient and effective use. Founded in 1871, the Fulton County School System is one of the oldest and famous school districts in Georgia. With a focus on student achievement and a commitment to improvement, FCS has earned a reputation as a premier school system. Its mission is to educate every student to be a responsible and productive citizen.
