Job Description

Contract: Permanent

Job Duties:

You will be reporting to Sales Manager regularly an is responsible for lead generation, sales planning, telesales, project management and delivering the pricing and discount policy in order to effectively achieve departmental and company objectives. In addition, this role maintains and builds great working relationships with furniture manufacturers, which is vital to increasing sales revenue.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Develop the Sales Pipeline and call upon new and existing contacts of suppliers and customers to scope potential furniture business. Deliver successful project management to ensure successful end to end customer journey.

• Identify Tendering Opportunities using the relevant online/offline portal and complete appropriate Tender Bids. Promote the various furniture frameworks at HFS and cross function communicating each step with key stakeholders

• Present weekly updates and monthly reports on furniture performance against sales targets and sales objectives, identifying areas of concern and actions required. Communicate live projects including status such like completion dates, delivery and install, meetings and presentations to customers

• Review and develop the furniture range alongside the Head of Purchasing and Furniture Buyer to ensure we have outstanding customer choice that leads to frequent purchase

• Proactive market engagement to identify new products and suppliers creating a positive impact on consumer choice. Present to HFS to ensure we are customer centred and achieve sales revenue

• Assist in the planning of the medium to long term sales related strategy for the further development of sales and margins. Involve HFS in the process to ensure inclusiveness and buy in to the longer term sales activity and plan

Experience - Required:
• Furniture Sales in a fast paced B2B environment
• Ability to use and adapt to design software
• Extensive knowledge of the furniture industry including educational furniture
• Up to date knowledge of furniture options/product in the current market
• Ability to build strong working relationships - internally and externally
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload effectively
• Demonstrable skills on software packages such as Microsoft Office
• Experience in administrative functions surrounding customer service operations.

Experience - Desirable:

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
• Educational Sales experience
