Gannett is an American mass media holding company which was formed in 1906 by Frank Gannett with its headquarters based in Tysons Corner,Virginia.It split into two publicly traded companies in 2015,one centering on newspapers and publishing and the other on broadcasting which took Tegna as its name and owns about 50 TV stations. GateHouse Media merged with the company in November 2019 and created one of the supreme newspaper publishers in the United States and adopted the name Gannett.
