I was hired as the account manager for the Swedesboro UPS site which consisted of two buildings. The site's Operations Manager, Jane, was a pleasure to work with. She's very smart, dedicated, fair and caring. The gentleman who ran the Philadelphia Security branch was a man of great knowledge, compassion, understanding, and a pleasure to work for.
If you get the opportunity to work for Gardaworld, do not hesitate to sign on with them; you will be disappointed!

Hourly wage, great management and great atmosphere.

As a training supervisor I worked with many, many, very good guards that I watched get treated like dirt by management. Our guards usually remaind employed at the site I worked at for 2-3 months then they would quit. If they turned down OT or needed a personal day off, management pushed them out even faster. This was extremely frustrating as a supervisor. The first meeting i had with my manager i was told, "all the guards are sh*t because their pay is sh*t, the bar is low." And the manager lived up to that statement every day. He never had anything positive to say about the job and definitely had zero solutions to the problems at the job site. He just kept saying, "we have sh*t guards so what do you expect?" I entered into security with high customer service ethics and believed I had a pretty good mindset for business. GardaWorld convinced me that working in security is pure hell and not worth my time. I refuse to play a part in treating people with such disrespect.

Site Supervisor was a liar and told lies to upper management due to having different political views. Management didn't have the backbone to stand up for the companies personnel. Someone that worked 60-80 a week that worked everytime the company needed them to be cut down to 29 hours because lack of other job sites was wrong.

Very poor management. This company does not care about customer service for clients therefore could care less about employees. I had management tell me in the Emeryville Ca. Office, "We pay guards sh*t so we have sh*t guards, if the client wants better they will pay more. " That was said during a supervisor meeting. GardaWorld convinced me to get out of security all together.
