About General Laborer

What does a General Laborer do?

As General Laborers, we are responsible for transporting merchandise between receiving stations and production areas. We record the material amount received and circulated and maintain industry vehicles in safe and good working conditions. We execute daily work instructions received from the supervisor and drive industrial vehicles to transfer materials. Maintaining quality standards and operating manual material handling equipment is one of our main responsibilities. We maintain the work area clean and safe and lift and carry merchandise as needed. Working as General Laborers, we assist in the waste disposal and inspect merchandise upon delivery to identify any damages.

  • collect and dispose of garbage
  • load and unload merchandise
