Genie was founded in 1966 by Bud Bushnell but became a Terex brand during the economic downturn in 2002. Genie is a manufacturer of work lifts and platforms used in construction, maintenance, warehouse stocking, and equipment installation. The company is a global company that has spread its tentacles all over the world, headquartered in Washington, USA. Genie equipment rental department accounts for 90% of all it's domestic sales while 80% of sales are made outside of the US. Some of its products are Xtra capacity, Electric, and Bi-Energy Lifts, Telescopic Boom Lifts, Articulated Boom Lifts, and several others. Genie is dedicated to minimizing waste, improving quality, listening to customers, and providing support even after the sale.
