As Geotechnical Field Technicians, we are responsible for collecting and analyzing samples of rock and other materials to determine changes in various landscapes. We gather samples from test sites and analyze the data produced from environmental testing. We create reports of the findings and operate and maintain pressure meter testing equipment. We lay our borings and test pits with conventional surveying and GPS. We observe and classify test pits and perform hang auger borings.
