You gather skills to understand a strict gmp environment, the work is very simple but human error happens quite a bit. You have to quickly understand logging samples and how to perform tasks, but you have nowhere to grow as their headcount never changes.
I would not recommend a filling operation to anyone, but the pay here is 25-35% better than places in Irvine, but similar to some parts of LA. If there is no filling and you do EM, life is easy. Gilead will work you to the bone, and I've done 60hr workdays including weekends. Save your head, and rather work for b Braun, Takeda, or grifols.

Work is mindless, overtime and weekends, no remote, very boring, no employee openings

My manager was an EXTREME micro manager. Would explain daily why I was wrong and he was right. Would not listen to what the actual Issue we were running into and heard what he WANTED hear.
