About Global Account Manager

What does a Global Account Manager do?

As global account managers, we provide sales leadership and account management for large global account customers of our organization. We conduct market research, then develop and implement global sales plans and growth strategies. We liaise with and influence key decision-makers of existing and prospective customers. We oversee negotiations, and drive successful bids. We usually have previous experience with multi-location accounts. Our role usually reports to the VP of Sales.

  • developing and maintaining relationship with key global clients
  • providing strategic leadership to global sales team
  • assisting in resolving key client issues
  • overseeing contract negotiation
  • establishing and overseeing budgets
  • strategic planning to improve client results
