About
Description
As Global Category Managers, we manage the development and execution of the global spend category strategy, including procurement, sourcing, contract, and vendor relationship management. We also lead, direct, and work independently or under little supervision to perform strategic sourcing for assigned product portfolios to minimize cost and optimize supply assurance. We are also responsible for creating category sourcing strategies and deploy processes throughout a company by effectively communicating category strategies.
Core tasks:
- keep continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process
- manage and facilitate all facets of the procurement activities for the category, including vendor evaluations, site audits, and continuous improvement process for all suppliers
